Well let see. I found a couple of stupid mistakes in the earlier posts. I have been married to Robbie for 22 years this September 20th, not 23. And I have now lost 46 pounds and am in onderland. So very happy about that.

This is my step dad Ron and the hat that I made for him. I liked it so much that he gave me more yarn for another one. He says that you can't have too many hats. Haven't started it yet cause I am doing a tank top with two different types of lace and mystery stole #4. Just completed clue #1 only 3 clues behind, but it took me a while to decide what yarn I wanted to use and what color beads to use.

Hat blues

Second day knitting the seamans cap for my dad and noticed that my hands were turning blue. Shoot. Now will have to wash it to get all of the loose dye out before I can give it to him. I was really hoping to go out to his house and give it to him today, but no such luck. But I will be done knitting it today. It is a fun, quick hat. I may make more of them in the next few weeks, but not sure. Need to get back to Hey Teach.

First Blog

Well this is my first blog. Don't quite know what I will blog about, life, love, kids, weight loss, and knitting.

My three sons Bruce, Michael and Jason.

Bruce is the oldest and is now 21 years old. He is getting married in December 2008. Michael is the baby and is 16 years old. He is a junior in high school. Jason is the middle kid and is 19 years old, but will be 20 in October. He is getting married in July 2009.

This is my husband of 22 years, 23 on September 20th. His name is Robbie and he has been a great husband, friend, provider and father. I met him at work (he was the bosses son) and I was the secretary. We were both young and stupid. Started dating in December, moved in together in May and married that September. Both sets of parents were worried that we were rushing things, but we didn't listen. We have had our ups and downs, but through it all we are still going strong. That is what I hope for my sons as they set off in their new lives with two great girls.

As for knitting, it keeps me sane. If I didn't do something with my hands I would likely eat myself to an early grave. I have made a few pieces of clothing and have found that I really enjoy making things to wear. I especially enjoy knitting tank tops so that is what I am focusing on now. I am also in the process of making a hat for my step-dad and Hey Teach from Knitty. I am on ravelry as patsand and find that I spend too much time there.

I am a weight watcher person trying to get to lifetime again. I have so far lost 34.8 pounds and am almost to onederland. Can't wait 200.2 right now. Was sad that I didn't lose enough this week to get there, but I will get there and then I will be happy. My ultimate goal is to be 135 pounds, but my lifetime goal is 144.
