Wow

Wow I haven't posted in quite a while. So lets see, what has been going on. Well I was fortunate enough to get into the Super Summer Knitaway in Nashville this coming June. I am looking forward to meeting a lot of new friends and spending time knitting. I finished a February Lady Sweater and after that I lost some of my knitting mojo. Definitely lost my diet mojo. Ugh gained 10 pounds. need to find both my knitting and diet mojo really fast.

I will be celebrating my and hubby's 25th wedding anniversary on the 20th of September. There are day I can't believe we made it this far.

Finished Live oak shawlette I started at Sock Summit. I used Skinny bugga, signature needles. I loved this pattern, yarn and needles. So very nice.

I had so much fun at Sock Summit. I have to admit that I did go overboard with the spending, but you only live once right?!!!!

Evenstar Shawl is finally done. 3000 beads, wow what was I thinikiing!!!!! Love it though, very pretty and fun to knit.

Finished shawl. Need to block, but it is nice. Still have Daybreak and Evenstar shawls on the needles. Really need to get them done. I don't think I will be able to finish the Knitgirllls stash dash, but will give it my best.

Age of Brass and Steam

This project took 3 days and 270 yards of my pretty handspun. It was a delight to knit and wonderful to watch the colors come out. I love this shawl and the yarn.
