Moon

Well just had to try to get a great picture of the moon tonight. It is so pretty just wish I had used a "real" camera not the iPhone camera, but so glad I have iPhone cause I don't usually have a camera on my person.

Wow have I been bad

Well I did have every intention on doing a picture every day, but it is really hard to decided what to take a picture of. I mean I could take a picture of my knitting every day all the changes that I did on a project. I could take pictures of the weather, but who wants to keep seeing snow and ice fog every day. I know I don't want to. Then there are pictures of the family, but we don't change all that much and I think Michael would have gotten really tired of me putting a camera in his face. He is after all 17yrs and doesn't like his picture taken. So I guess it will be a every few days of finished projects and new snow fall or the Hawaiian vacation that is coming up very quickly.

Today's picture is of a pair of fingerless gloves I finished this morning. Adjusted the pattern from fingered gloves so they were fun.













Now working on a entrelac scarf. I have made this scarf before so it is a quick knit for easy gifts. Love Noro Silk Garden.

Colonnade

Finished shawl last night. Not sure if I like the
colors together, but like thte pattern. Still have to block it. Now have to decide what to start next or maybe what to finish.

This morning there was a moose in the front yard, but couldn't get a good pic of it. Shoot!!!

Krok Socks

These were so much fun to crochet and very fast. finished one last night and had to do only two rows this morning to complete the other.

I plyed yarn

I Navajo plied yarn!!! Can't believe I did it on the first try. Love how it turned out. So now need to get a more consistant twist, but for right now I am very very happy!!!!

Well got a haircut today. Not too sure about, but it is better than the last one. Except for the fact that the hairdresser never listens to me. I don't go for "big" hair and she does it to me every time. I wore my hat until it calmed back down.

spinning crazy

 Last night I couldn't sleep and I spun up 3 oz silk and merino in an orange colorway. When the spin is set I will take a picture of it. Also spun up some odds and ends. My next spinning fiber is Corriedale from  http://www.dyakcraft.com/. I can't wait to try it out. Will probably do that tomorrow after getting my hair cut.

Weighed in today and had a 1.6 pound loss. Lost weight two weeks in a row!!! Time to throw a party!!!! LOL. Also second week of exercise. Like it so far.
