Winter day

Michael passed his driver’s test yesterday. So very happy for him and for me. Now I don’t have to do anymore teaching. Now he needs a job, needs a car and insurance. Momma isn’t going to share her car.

Knitting catch up

well I have been a busy girl. This week I finished Mystery shetland Pi shawl and Qiviut Cowl. I started Ishbel shawl. Loving these so much. qiviut cowl and mystery shetland pi shawl, only problem is that I haven't figured out how to post pictures from flickr since they changed. the cowl is actually purple not blue.

On the diet front, things are going very slowly, but I am still losing so that is a good thing.

Anniversary

Well yesterday was my 24th wedding anniversary.

Finally got the sweater done. Loved knitting it, but the collar was a pain in the BUTT!!!! Fits really nice.

Finished this hat in one evening. So much fun. It is Unoriginal Hat by Stephie-Pearl McPhee knit with Malabrigo Aquarella on size 11 needles.

I'm Back

I am back again. I have been a busy little knitter. I have finished three pairs of great socks this month.

Cotty by Irishgirlieknits. Love the pattern a lot. I did do them toe up so the heel is a little different, but that is okay with me.

Lace and Cable by Wendy Johnson out of STR mw Dragon Dance. Loved these socks and did them 2 at a time.

These are Hermiones everday socks by Erica Lueder out of STR lw Covelite. These are going to be my go to socks. They are fast and so much fun.


On the weight loss front I have found my mojo again. I have been able to lose 6.6 pounds in two weeks. So very happy about that. I am plugging along and enjoying this so far.
