new ankle

Well bruises are almost gone. Still really swollen. Can't wait until it is all better. Still hurts like a "dirty word" at times. Doc was kind of worried about the bruising on top of foot. Kind of funny since they didn't seem to care about the top of my foot until Friday. Well no toes or foot bones broken.

Tired

I am so tired of wearing this stupid boot at night. I also feel so bad that I still need pt cause it isn't getting better as fast as I wish it was. DH is so good about it. He says keep going to pt, keep wearing the boot, keep sitting around the house knitting, he will take care of me. He works so hard. He is so good.

hat crazy

Okay this is Ron's 3rd hat. It is driving me crazy. I can't believe that he wants another hat. Hats are fun to knit, but he wants this before the end of the month. I was trying to knit Mondo Cable Pulli before the end of the month.

mondo cable pulli

Here is my Mondo Cable Pulli. this is so much fun to knit. Loving the yarn, loving the pattern. I could see making this pattern again. I am on the second ball of yarn and have 6 more balls to go. Probably will use 4-5 skeins of yarn for this pattern.

Had my first physical therapy appointment today. It went well, but really sore afterwards. need to get better so that I can drive again. Have totally missed my knitting group and all of my knitting friends. They rock!!!!!!

Wow

Well here I am again. Since I hurt my ankle I have been knitting like crazy. Finished Clapotis in record time. finished Grandma's entreloc scarf that I started before Hawaii. No picture of it yet. Working on Proper Etiquette socks from Creative Knitting Mag. Love Jitterbug yarn and this color is great. I am only on the first sock, but lace repeat isn't too hard to do.

Foot is feeling better. Now can walk around the house without boot, but don't want to go out without the boot in case I should slip or twist ankle. All of the swelling has gone down, but still very bruised. Hoping to be driving by the end of next week. Hubby has been spoiling me, but my house is driving me crazy. It is getting a little messy, so will have to start slowly working on it.
