Wow

Wow I haven't posted in quite a while. So lets see, what has been going on. Well I was fortunate enough to get into the Super Summer Knitaway in Nashville this coming June. I am looking forward to meeting a lot of new friends and spending time knitting. I finished a February Lady Sweater and after that I lost some of my knitting mojo. Definitely lost my diet mojo. Ugh gained 10 pounds. need to find both my knitting and diet mojo really fast.

I will be celebrating my and hubby's 25th wedding anniversary on the 20th of September. There are day I can't believe we made it this far.

Finished Live oak shawlette I started at Sock Summit. I used Skinny bugga, signature needles. I loved this pattern, yarn and needles. So very nice.

Evenstar Shawl is finally done. 3000 beads, wow what was I thinikiing!!!!! Love it though, very pretty and fun to knit.

Finished shawl. Need to block, but it is nice. Still have Daybreak and Evenstar shawls on the needles. Really need to get them done. I don't think I will be able to finish the Knitgirllls stash dash, but will give it my best.

This project took 3 days and 270 yards of my pretty handspun. It was a delight to knit and wonderful to watch the colors come out. I love this shawl and the yarn.

Finished second 4 oz of Tempted BFL fiber in the colorway The Knit Girlls. I got 274 yards. I will be casting on the Age of Brass and Steam as soon as I get one of the three shawls I am working on right now off the needles. I really love spinning. It is so much fun.

Finished the newsprint cowl yesterday. Love it. Malabrigo knits up so nice. Fun pattern too.

5k Dash

I am getting ready for the 5K dash knit/spin along. It starts on the 27th of May and goes until August 15th. I am really hoping that I can finish knitting and spinning 5468 yards of fiber by then. So far I have my Evenstar shawl otn that will count if I finish it in time, also spinning up fiber. Tour de fleece also runs in that time frame so that should help my yardage.

Also exciting news I am going to Sock Summit and have 4 classes. I am so happy. Can't wait.

Now on the diet front, not losing not gaining just staying the same. Really need to find my diet mojo again. Every time I think I am doing right, I lose the mojo and go wrong.

Baby Sweater

Yay, February baby sweater is done. Fast, fun, great stash buster. Now to give to mom for one of her baby dolls. So glad that I have finished something so far this month. Spiceman socks are almost done. March mystery socks, clue one is done, clue two just out.

Robbie and I on Maui. Having a great time. I will be glad to get home since two weeks away from all of my yarn is very sad.

Stash

Picture of my stash. I spent a couple of hours putting it all on an excel sheet. 89163 yards or 50.6610 miles. Dang it. Way too much yarn. And the sad thing is that I have two big boxes of acrylic downstairs that isn't on the excel sheet since I am going to be donating it. Soon.

Last year's knitting

So I went to Rav tonight and figured out how many miles I knitted for 2010. A total of 5.603 miles or 9862 yards.In that totally were 8 pairs of sock. I want to get more done this next year.

Birthday

Okay so today is my birthday. So far so good. I got a sweater from my grandmother, check from my mom and dad, something I will not mention from my husband (Wink, wink). Lunch with Michael and Jason.
